A new century of discovery


Health and wellness concepts are integrated through the K-8 physical education curriculum. North Lake School promotes a healthy lifestyle including making good choices and being active.
D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is taught in 5th grade by a local enforcement officer. Students learn the benefits of responsibility through the interactive in-school curriculum which lasts ten weeks.
Human Growth and development is taught in grades 5-6-8 and in gender specific sessions. The human growth and development curriculum is based on abstinence and can be accessed by parents at any time. It is housed in our library and available for review.
