Food Service

Mrs. Cull

North Lake School is pleased to have a self-operated food service program offering student and staff lunches made fresh and hot right on site. The kitchen staff takes great pride and care in making nutritional lunch options every day to enjoy.

Lunches are made with real food (chicken, beef) and not processed. A typical daily lunch menu includes a choice of one of two entrees or a deli bar sub sandwich made to order with a variety of deli meat and cheese options on a roll. A full salad bar with fruit/veggies is included. Occasional gluten free options are offered.

The kitchen is equipped with its own grill top to cook burgers, pancakes, etc. Students and staff have nutritious and delicious choices-YUM!

Join us for lunch!
Sincerely,
Diane

Payments received by cash or check will be entered into student accounts by the next business/school day. Parents are able to track their child(ren’s) lunch account balance online 24/7.

Parents are encouraged to join their child(ren) for lunch. Please call ahead (before 10:00am) allowing time for the kitchen staff to prepare a lunch to enjoy.

Milk:
Milk, to accompany lunch, is available for all students in grades K-8. Students in grades K-5 may also receive milk for their morning snack break. There is no charge for student milk. The free milk is to be consumed during classroom snack and lunch. We do not offer our free milk program for kids staying after school for practices or other activities.

North Lake School participates in the Federal Special Milk Program. In the operation of the child feeding programs, no child will be discriminated against because of race, sex, color, national origin, or disability. If you believe you have been discriminated against, write immediately to the Secretary of Agriculture, Washington, DC 20250.

Allergies:
We have two designated peanut free tables in the lunchroom. Any child who has a peanut allergy should feel safe to eat at these tables with any friends that do not have a lunch containing peanuts or items manufactured with peanut derivatives in them.
